​Beth Donner is the President of Diversified Planning, Ltd., an independent Insurance
Brokerage & Consulting firm that provides unbiased advice on a full spectrum of
insurance and successful retirement topics with one goal in mind--
safeguarding the assets of her individual and corporate clients.

Ms. Donner graduated from the University of North Carolina at Charlotte, with a
Bachelor of Science degree in Nursing.  Beginning her career in healthcare, the pathway was set
for her knowledge of the U.S. healthcare delivery system, private insurance and public/welfare programs.
Beth understands how different forms of insurance work, and what they Do & Don't pay for! 
This healthcare background coupled with over two and a half decades of assisting clients with insurance
and navigating the healthcare system - along with HOW & WHO is going to pay for it - is what truly
allows Beth's clients to benefit from her highly unique set of experience & skills.

​Over recent years, she has been a member of the National Association of Insurance and Financial Advisors (NAIFA) and the National Association of Health Underwriters (NAHU).   
She has served as a Board Member with the Cary Chamber of Commerce and served as
President and Board Member of HopeLine, Inc., ​a non-profit crisis intervention hotline.  
Beth is extremely honored by her qualification of the Financial Services Institute to be named to the 2022 Advocacy Circle of Excellence,
for her sincere commitment to always put her clients best interest first!   

​Beth is a Paul Harris Fellow with Rotary International, a past member of Health Affairs Round Table and of the North Carolina Alliance of Healthy Communities.  She has a passion for education through public speaking and has participated in many forums with area Rotary Clubs and the Cary Chamber of Commerce.  Ms. Donner has also been a contributing writer to OutreachNC magazine where, over a 5 year period, she authored a variety of popular articles on preparing for retirement and navigating healthcare during retirement.  More recently, Beth was invited to join the faculty at Wake Tech Community College where she designed the course and provided classroom Continuing Education to professional’s regarding issues of concern to U.S. aging Baby-Boomers, highlighting the #1 Monetary Risk to Retiree’s  -- that unaddressed Long Term Care costs can leave a family destitute.
